Wasted Co-op reduces our nations food waste, one small habit at a time. America looses 40% of it's food from farm to fork to landfill. Waste happens at the farm, restaurant, and household level. We wanted to focus on a way to reduce our waste, and, in turn, reduce the amount of methane emissions, save our land, and preserve our freshwater. Through our research, we found there are countless small acts that can help reduce our waste. These small acts were the foundation of our solution, the Wasted Co-op, an idea striving to change the way we think and care for our food, community, and environment.
